The Company aims to comply with the highest industry standards on the prevention of all forms of substance abuse, including drugs and alcohol on board
• The Company policy takes into consideration the ‘Guidelines for the Control of Drugs and Alcohol Onboard Ship’, issued by OCIMF.
• The Master shall be responsible for enforcement of the Company’s Drug and Alcohol Policy on board.
• Issue of alcoholic beverages on board is strictly prohibited. Crewmembers are not allowed to bring on board any alcoholic beverage.
• Company vessels shall not stock, sale any alcoholic drinks and beverages.
• While on shore-leave, all officers and ratings will observe the alcohol abstinence for at least 4 hours prior taking over watch-keeping duties or any scheduled shipboard duties.
• Crew may be subjected to random testing for drugs and alcohol at any time on board the ship.
• Be warned that the company will actively cooperate with any government or governmental agency concerned with prevention of drug usage and distribution.
